Who is Halcyon Technologies?
Inspired by our namesake, Halcyon Technologies aims to develop systems that mitigate the effects of wind and sea for uncrewed aerial systems (drones), enabling them to land safely at sea on maritime assets such as ships and boats. These assets experience significant dynamic movement and operate in arduous environmental conditions.
Meeting a need
Attritable uncrewed systems are emerging as a strategic advantage for defence forces. These systems are cost-effective, relying on streamlined development that is less cornplex than traditional I programs. Advanced manufacturing and minimal logistical requirements allow for rapid deployment to the field. Integrating autonomous aerial systems with crewed or uncrewed maritime assets to enhance operational effectiveness for our Littoral (Naval & Amphibious) forces.
